Our story began not in a café, but in a small home in Las Piñas City, Philippines, where a curious four-year-old met her first companion — a calico cat named Minggay. In that household, animals weren’t allowed indoors, but that didn’t stop me. I would sneak bits of food outside, determined to care for the stray cats that gathered by our gate. That childhood ritual of feeding strays became the heartbeat of who I am — and, eventually, the soul of this company.

Years later, with a home (and a sassy calico) of my own, that same compassion still guides me. Sophie, my indoor cat and the inspiration behind our logo, reminds me daily why this mission matters. While she may prefer to keep her kingdom all to herself, my heart remains wide open to every stray who still waits for kindness outside the door.
